War is a subject that has fascinated us forever. What makes it honorable at some times and appalling at others? Join us, the Sunday before Veteran's Day, as we explore biblical and contemporary efforts to civilize conflict. The trek includes 0.9 miles of walking on sidewalks and is stroller accessible. This trek will include a unique opportunity to hear from Jewish war veterans and is not to be missed. This trek is open to all and will include child-appropriate activities about fighting fair, veterans and more.
Meeting Place:
Thomas Circle, at the foot of the statue of General Thomas (look for the Shul Without Walls banner!)
Thomas Circle is a traffic circle located at the junction of Massachusetts Avenue, Vermont Avenue, 14th Street, and M Street, N.W.
